Scratch

A Poem by Robin
"

more metaphoria

"

of metaphoria and linguistic stretching

chocolate bagels and funny jewelry

of acerbic wit and smiling moonfaces

of gypsum and required rollcalls

of flashback summers and long dryspells

Prolific and wanting more

wings and passing ships

of french philosophers and daydreams

missing stars and broken cameras

silk moths and one brief dawn

congratulations to the brave

Vive le poète

this made me smile big time! I think it is very much the essence of you.... the spontaneity and love for different things... both beautiful and wondrous... feels like I am floating on a cloud in your imagery.... wispy tendrils of idealism.... the dreamer dreams on!

I don't think you could possibly stop a poet's linguistic stretching. Shut him up in a dark room, and he'd still sail the high seas.

The parallels here draw from the light of "smiling moonfaces":)

This is quite artistic, I found the stream of consciousness and spontaneity principle really off the charts in this one!

Very descriptive and do I dare say, flighty? I felt as if I was propelled to each topic quickly and with a sense of urgency. An unusual style, but captivating.

this had the feel of a butterfly flitting from flower to flower, so many images, it seemed light, cheerful and appreciative. A very positive heart warming write. Thankyou.

that the mind processes information we know, but the absorption of ones surrounds and the conversion of impressions into thoughts and emotions is a phenomenon usually overlooked. The artist (written in this case) stops the film and examines each frame, dissecting it and extracting life's plasma for his analysis and interest, incubates it and supplies a rhetorical petri dish rife with his own personally aestheticized "bacteria" designed to malinger for as many generations as possible. Your laboratory's culture is prolific Dr.!
