An Unwanted Child

An Unwanted Child

A Poem by Rhianne Ney
"

about a fetus talking to her mom

"
I was hoping to be born,
When I get out I will give my mother joy,
"You need to be removed from me"
Mother, what are you saying?

Do you remember when you said I was important to you?
Why are you discarding me now?
Do you think I'm just one of your mistakes?
Mother, I'm not, I'm a blessing.

What's this?
I feel like there's someone coming,
I will try to escape from this,
I want to be born as your child.

My perpetrator tightens its grip and crushed my upper body,
What shall I do? Please help me!
Please don't let them destroy me!

Why can't you hear my please?
Mother, I love you, I want to see you
What do you really want, Mom?
Do you hate me?

I tried to blink but it's the end,
I'm sorry, Mommy I didn't hold on til the end.
My dream to see you and this world
Was quickly crushed by the heartless perpetrator.
