Carly Faye McRayA Poem by Rita L. Sev.“I don’t believe in ghosts!” said Carly Faye McRay as she boldly walked into the haunted house
Upon passing through the doorway, she felt the air go cold as a breeze rustled the ruffles of her blouse
The lights began to flicker and the chair began to rock; still not convinced, she kept on walking through
Next she heard some moans and the rattling of chains; she even heard a clichéd spectral “Boo!”
“Um… I don’t believe in ghosts…” stammered brave miss Carly Faye, to the presence of which she was now aware
“But I just remembered something, and I really have to go…” And Carly Faye McRay flew outta there!
