A Zejel poem

Am I a mere leaf in this book

The part of the tale with no hook

A chapter where no one will look

Are my words inconsequential

Though they are rife with potential -

Likely even quite essential

Not volumes of gobbledegook

I'd like to be certain my tome

Contributes a comforting home

To thoughts that continue to roam

Rendering more than what I took.
