Teasing

Teasing

A Poem by Rita L. Sev
"

...

"

The calendar’s a tease

with come-hither claims of Spring,

the time for charms

of Nature’s sweet allure

Instead she’s staying hidden

under frigid blankets white,

sleeping soundly through

the echoed lion’s roar

The hidden promises of Spring and its sweet allure is what people, animals, and even plants look for. The new beginnings, the bloom of fora, the warming up to nature. For some they like to come quicker but this year it has been bad enough so all of them are staying hidden...
I guess weird weather phenomenons are ripping our world...Bravo......
