Whine Stopper

Whine Stopper

A Poem by Rita L. Sev

There’s air in my lungs

My neurons are firing

My heart keeps a-beating,

My eyes still admiring

There’s food in the pantry,

A roof overhead

Got clothes on my back

And I’m happily wed

If there’s ever a day

When I grumble and whine

Remind me of these ~

I’m doing just fine

Excellent, Rita--an honest to good poem about an honest to good day! This is rare in the WC. I like it!
