You may feel my thinking is odd

of footwear in which you might plod;

podiatric scandals,

those cheap rubber sandals ~

you won’t catch me scantily shod!

tee hee to be sure .. always a joy to experience your humor Rita .. my sister was vacationing one rainy morning and stepped out on the very slippery deck in her own podiatric scandal, which like lightening scooted out from under her promptly breaking her ankle in two places .. she needed a metal plate and about 7 screws to fix it and is now in her first week of a 6 month convalescence .. no weight baring .. so your opinion on this is well to heed ;)

Oh no! anything to do with feet or at least mine. Actually as soon as I read this and then I thought about my situation I thought it was so embarrasing. I laughed. I know this may sound a little strange but hey. I actually have some steel toe cap shoes I wear all year round. My excuse I live in England. Bloody weather.
