Poets Embrace

Poets Embrace

A Poem by Rossen
"

She writes her loss in her past, he writes his hope for the future

"

She mourns lost love, hands to her face
sees fragile ones, her heart slips pace

I fall through spaces, cracks in this world
throwing romeo, to this heart unfurled

Forever lost on the path of never again
she bleeds black tears out of her pen

Through this atmosphere a torch I become
drawn to her gravity I glow like  the sun

My impossible dreamer writing this way
reliving dark tragedy at the end of her day

So close now I can feel her soft empathy
kindred and soothing, naked in front of me

Giving herself with such passionate heat
deep inside her warmth, I feel so complete

Holding my head to her compassionate breast
listening to loves echos, alive in her chest

Oh my gosh this made me cry so hard... Utterly stunning in its beauty. Your words captivated me, held me and made me long for so many things. "she mourns lost love, hands to her face...sees fragile ones, her heart slips pace" Brilliant introduction, Rossen. I instantly related with the woman in this piece and desperately craved my own romeo by the end. "she bleeds black tears out of her pen" An amazing line! This piece completely won me over and I could not love it more. Perhaps one day the poets shall meet.

optimism meets pessimism and soothes its aching soul until pessimism is warmed by the torch of optimism and blooms in its light. A wonderful piece
