She and Her

She and Her

A Poem by Sahar moonlight

She wakes up everyday

With a smile she says 'Good day'

She throws a joke here and there

She laughs loudly everywhere

And everyone see her joy

All her times, smile and enjoy

One Day

She woke up silent

The smile on her face was absent

Everyone asked whats the matter?

What did she say and answer?

What Happened?

Nothing happened.

She just took a break

From artificial smiles she'd fake

And is today,

just as

she is as.

Wow, this is totally something I relate to. I'm so glad you wrote this poem on this topic, something I wish many people would understand. Most of the time, I'm not genuinely happy, and for that, I need something amazing to happen. It's not to be put as...say, hard to please, but it's just that the others may be hard to please, or you have too much going on. This poem definitely shows that dark side, however, this idea is so great, I just couldn't feel that intense effect I was supposed to feel. Feel free to wander a bit from a fixed rhyme structure, feel free to add more emotion, more powerful words, and maybe this poem can be a bit longer? Anyway, I loved this so much, that's why I want more of it haha. Keep writing. :)

Whew. Am I this girl??? This is a very good piece it left my heart beating faster and my mouth speechless. What more can I say? This is not random. This is simply the truth from a girl who woke up one day and that...

This is a very eerie poem, hooked me on from the beginning. I am really sorry it took so long for me to get to this RR. I've been bombed with so many lately.
This poem- I think- is something many of us can relate to. We all pretend to smile and say that nothing's wrong, when there really is something pricking at us. When we drop our fake side and put out our real front, people think there is something wrong. Just like the girl in the picture. .

As "necessary" as it may seem to act happy every single day, as tiring is it to fake being someone you are not every day of your life.
Then there is nothing more relieving than taking a break of pretending and being yourself, even if it leaves everybody wondering. Funny that "everyone" never noticed nothing they saw and heard was real, I guess too often that's the case in reality.
Another great poem!

Amazing...sometimes the facades we put up are just mechanisms of self preservation..but yeah its always easier to be just yourself..wish more people did that..more people could do that ! :)
