i love this! each line sets me to a new height as i read. this really reminds me of how the journey ahead of us can be full of turns and twists but i know i will always find my way to the light and come out with a win

This poem is quite inspiring. I feel you did a great job writing it. It tells a lovely story and does justice the quote that you shared in the author's note. Very nice. x
I can really relate to this poem and think a lot of other readers can also. I really enjoyed the line, "And become white, pure, clean and perfect" --I think us, as humans, want to have such a peaceful life, especially at the end of the day we all want the same simple things in life. What a great write! It does in fact take a lifetime to really figure your whole true self, because each day experiences are forming and molding who your character is, and for that day it may sway and change depending on the occurances.

Sometimes, when the journey towards finding our own self begins, we always look to wards the self that has virtually all the good values and morals but then, we ought to know that we are only limited as "imperfect" persons. There are challenges along the way and it is possible that through them, we might find a little bit of our hidden self. Thanks for such a wonderful review!
