Pain, Pain,

Go away.

Please do not

Come another day.

You are not wanted here,

In my being, in my heart,

In my fragile soul.

Please just go, just leave

Quietly, if you must, for

You are hated. No one likes you,

No one wants your emotion.

The only way I would want you is

For erasing sad memories from my mind,

For silencing my stifled cries at night,

The nagging sorrow in the pit of my stomach,

For erasing the burning empty ache in my heart.

But for now, Pain

Just go away.

You are not needed nor wanted here.

Yet, that is.
