3) Moving On

3) Moving On

A Poem by Marshall Schoth
"

This poem really describes my personal journey through adolescence and finding myself despite others opinions of what I should be.

"
Small mindedness
My jailer no longer be
I transcend
Farther than you can see

I've broken through
Reached the other side
You don't hold me back
I see beyond your lies

Your Conformity I refuse
No longer trapped in thought
You tried to keep me there
Like a blooming flower to rot.

Coward.

How dare you hold me back?

I will not be shackled.

I will not justify your lack.
