I wrote this after seeing a dead turtle

This is a poem about a girl.

This poem really describes my personal journey through adolescence and finding myself despite others opinions of what I should be.

This poem is inspired by Henry David Thoreau who said, "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them."

This is my first poem I wrote after being inspired by a friend who was digusted with love because someone marred it for her.
