Us and The End

Us and The End

A Poem by Sethnicity
"

A war within US.

"
Where do We go from Hear?
There's nothing left to sever
cause you just ate your ears
Their is no 1 willing to deliver
the Kind-Ness-sities of Life,
of Love,
No 1 can stand to give It ^.

We can race to the Moon and find Nothing there
Yet We litter our flags like worn underwear.
Though, My words are Frost Bitten Lakes of Reality
Stricken by Tundra and Tobacco leaf
Hidden by the Blister of Blizzard Breeze
Like locos voting on policies
policies to put them on the streets

These words May never reach beyond,
My F**k n Brain
this Cold War We Never win
10 Adam Bombs to Send
US and Them
a swifty end
A bloody Post card to God
that says " HA HA Amen"
The End

Don't ignore the spelling.... Think about the layers of meaning..
This is an old writing of mine.

Hidden by the Blister of Blizzard Breeze-- Very nice, Seth. Also, glad you suggested Karate, I hadn't listened to them in quite a while! You were right, the two paired well. Great write. I miss the good ol' days when we lived together and I was free to peruse your journals of writings whenever I chose. Always an enchanting escape to be found. :)

I love your play of words here! I hope I found them all, though. Very clever! It plays tricks on your mind. Makes you think about things. I think my favorite is "Adam bombs". You make a very good point here.

I see the political views, as well as the over all theme, but in all honesty it was a little forced. Over all nice work, but the subject matter is a tricky nut to crack.

A war within us...So right. you write with great wisdom and insight, your flow is smooth and gets in deep to the core, subtle and yet, powerful. Exceptional, Poet.

I have minimal faith in the powers that be and politics, well, is something I write about, as you may know lol
The layers to this is perfect :) Softens the blow a little, still puts the reader on their toes though :) xoxo

I'm often put off by political poetry, but the gentle, general touches in this make it more powerful than poems that call out specifics. This is a perfect example of how one perfect statement, like the one you made at the end, can say everything in an opinion article, and more.

I like this piece for it speaks the truth in an upfront creative manner. Gotta love politics *rolls eyes skyward* Bunch of liars lying to each other spinning false tales so they can feed their greed.

I like the form, a way ward combination I am in tune with,
love each layer spitting hot fire into the moon, which cast a dark side
that we as critics can't, can't fit with such earthy gravity in depth and a freedom being drawn into you, truly an out of world, experience, you have soul inscription in this in piece ...amazing stuff
