He´s got the whole world in His hands,

Droppin bombs,
shootin mums and dads
Killin dreams that every
single child has had,
of a family in a home,
safe from all of that
unaware it could disappear
at the drop of a hat,
cause they don't teach reality
in school like that,
they'd rather feed em lies
and hide all the facts
about a man so loved
that it's all too sad
he's a helping hand to your face
but behind your back
he's a tyrant, a liar
on the global stage,
newspaper praise on every page,
conveying words of wisdom
for the news to replay
assuring us that everything's okay
and that's he's doing all that he can
to keep the whole wide world
in the palms of his hands

Enjoying the title card of
the world's most powerful man
deciding deep oil deposits
discern whether you're a
foe or friend, finger poised
on the trigger ready to
squeeze it again
world war waging simply
because he can.
First to take action though
the last to take blame,
it's hard to play the loser
when you created the game,
though should he draw the
short straw, things will
never be the same, one push
of a button then the fallout
becomes the rain

That seems to be the problem
with the world today,
the strongest of supports
are just a fracture away
from collapsing, and falling
into dismay, just like
a damaged dam it's all about
to give way, to a state of chaos
and anarchy, where things we took
for granted will end you and me,
the victims of a derailed rogue policy,
dreaming of the day when we'll finally
be free, but the whole damn world's in his hands
you see.

Author's Note

This is an experiment in writing for me, I wrote this as if I had rapped it, but I hate rap, so think of it as fast paced poetry...This one's about a man of power that abuses said power.
