Awake In A Silver Land

Awake In A Silver Land

A Poem by Silhouettic
"

We all wish to be something bigger, than this existence, this life awake.

"

I awake to the sound of nothingness
The ambience of silence holds my breath
Transient clouds of waning storms
Play mother to this world’s length

It’s here that I touch the planets
The universal dust so soft in my hands
The stars like night lights in a dark room
Spotlights in abundance as grains of sand

Amongst the void I take slumber
Beneath the sun and moon collide
The mechanics of my subconscious
Show no need for their light to divide

We all wish to be something bigger
Than this existence, this life awake
But our names are always called
And from this silver land we awake.
