Where will you hide, if darkness is all that's left?

If darkness might consume the light

Then where will I go to seek my sight.

 

For danger lurks behind my mind

While evil smirks despite the time.

 

For if darkness comes and consumes the light,

There will be nothing left but people fright.

 

For the light that came has passed away,

And all that’s left is darkness’ stay.

 

My hope has left with that of light,

As darkness comes to consume my sight.

I like this, very well written.. and has multiple meanings, but most important is that once darkness falls on any part of our life... that's when everything is able to attack in the shadows, mentally and emotionally especially... cause when we cannot see whats ahead or whats around us, who knows what mind trap or physical jigsaw were walking into... a dark world thorn patch thats surely meant for pain and suffering... so the Light is needed and when it dims its up to us to change the light bulb before it goes out, sure u catch my drift... great write Soma
