A Blue Jean Sky

A Blue Jean Sky

A Poem by SyberRose
"

Painting is called square dance.

"

The sky is a corn flower blue
It was once a turbulent storm,
but time lasso’s a new day
with a sienna smile
upon the lips of the morn.

Yellows roses promenade
in their skirts of lemonade
as bees in yellow jackets dosey doe.

The sun comes over the mountain
just a dancing in the fountains
skipping like a child in the rain...
In a blue jean sky
the morning taste's of apple pie
as winds strut along like John Wayne.

A bright country poem. I love the last line... John Wayne is a personal hero and legend. I can feel the strutting wind. :)

The font is a little distracting. I thought morn was mom at first read.

It could be the italics. the 'r' runs into the 'n'. Makes it look like an 'm'

A little something different from your pen, it starts out SyberRose with skies of cornflower blue yet ends with the big guy John Wayne, ha, how imaginative are you? Good one! ;-)
