I'M GONE BY T. PINA

I'M GONE BY T. PINA

A Poem by PENS FOR PEACE /TJ CALIFORNIA
"

A REALEATIONSHIP SPAWN IN HELL IS FINALLY OVER!

"

I’m Gone

We will never find forgiveness
in this house that we sometimes share
we emptied out our souls and pockets
on whatever that was there
Sad to say

there was never any real love here and no one really cared
what's done is done
Now that our home is completely bare
after today I hope you realize,

I’m gone

Blessings sometimes have thorns, and misery loves company
we can never repair the mess that we have made

since we can’t use our hands to hide the sun

It’s dam clear our life reeks of all the wrongs we have done

After today, you gotta know,

I’m gone

I've spent too many years at war with myself
my psychologist told me all this bullshit is just not good for my health
If I'm going to live in misery in this life
then I rather do it by myself and with out all this dam fuc#ing strife!

It's over,

I’m gone

First of all I love the whole flow of this piece...smooth;
and the feel of frustration and determination is so vivid
that the reader can feel it...really like that!

Lastly I quoted the 2 lines below because they are poignant
and give so much impact to this piece...just awesome lines!

"Blessings sometimes have thorns,"
"And we can't use our hands to hide the sun"
Awesome lines!

Very raw, again very honest and frustrated. I'd say more, but I'm sick right now and I don't know exactly WHAT to say. Not very constructive I know...how about...there was (again) a spot or two where the rhyming went out of rhythm, but I can almost see this as a spoken word poem more than a written word poem. I think this would be really good read out loud. I don't know, that's just how I see it.

That a boy!
I loved the rawness
the attitude
this was simply an angry
beautiful piece

You gotta write more poetry
on here, I know you are hiding
that brilliant mind somewhere
in there

Great work my friend!!

I am always in aww of your work

Your lil bro,

What an awesome way to kiss misery goodbye!!!! I loved reading this. Kind of had the feel of a sad "love" song. It's never fun to have to endure a life where there is no happiness and no love. Your psych was right (they usually are) - it's not good or your health: mental or physical.

Great job!!! Hope you find happiness in the future!!

From an art therapy point of view that is a REALLY good way to vent. Now you just need to add a pretty picture to go with it! :P

Relationships can be rough, they either work out - they work out with work - or no amount of work can save them. Sometimes, there is just too much damage done. It can be hard to see it, except in bouts of fights back and forth. It just adds up to be too much. Some people think that it is cowardice to walk away. F**k them. It takes balls. Sometimes, both sides can see it and call it quits. Sometimes, one side or the other just has to have the balls to say this is not working out. I hope that without all that baggage right there in your face that you can move on with your life, man. Good write.

Were my sentiments exactly, Tim. Wow! As sad as it was what a relief when it was finally over ... Wonderfully expressed, my friend ... Happy days ahead sweetie ... hugs
