I feel

I feel

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

I'm a mere human being.
One who breathes and walks
the face of this earth.
I bare the dark skin of a
woman wit full essence of
love.  Loving myself.
A woman of faith.
Who carries empathy.
Yes, I care cause i need
to feel.
I want to feel for all human
beings that exist, past me
and presently here.
We bleed blood together.
Here on earth's base, some
are lost.  I care.
Those who possess wisdom
must not undermine the
weak.
It paves the way for dark times.
A tarp draped with darkness
is over my town.
Yet, I must endure for
a purpose.
A purpose of love to love.

This is absolutely amazing. I can't believe the feels this gave me I mean this HMH. This is like a whole mood. Like if someone asked me how i feel I'm going to refer them to this poem. This is so good. I just don't have the words to describe it. Thank you so much for this poem! It is extremely wonderful.

I liked your thoughts and you hope in the poetry. If we led with kindness, concern and love. This world would be a better place. Thank you Roxane for sharing the amazing poetry.

thanks for the nice review.
As human beings, we are emotional and if we care about others, truly care, they will feel it. Too many people are selfish...only caring about themselves. You are a caring altruistic being. What an uplifting poem this is. Lydi**

Nice words with a fine moral message contained within.

The trouble with modern societies is that too many selfish people reside in them and the self less are too few and far between. For it is the self less who love others just as much as they love themselves and the bonds that form in communities stem from this founding self less love and attitude. Without compassion, love and understanding we all remain strangers in a shared place.

Your words leave the reader in no doubt as to where your commitment lies; both to yourself and those around you. A fine way to live life and a well written piece with a fine message for us to relate to. Nice work.
