All it takes is some Courage.

They label you like you're some kind of meat,
In the frozen section of the store.

Like you don't have a soul,
That longs for love.

Yet you just sit there and sob in your self-pity,
To them your misery is their treat.

They are Succubus,
a monster who thrives off of souls of the innocent.

They will never stop attacking,
Going after the kill, and thrill of the innocent,
Taking one soul after another.

They will thrive off of your self-pity,
and it will never stop.

So take a stand and call out the Hunter,
That lies with in your self.

And stand up for what you believe in,
Take control of the situation.

So that you may slay that Succubus,
who had taken so many souls.

"courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen."

Yes! We so often set ourselves up for failure with these types of people. I have fallen victim myself from time to time. This piece really did hit the mark in terms of imagery and unique thoughts. I like the ideas, and I also liked the execution. A few little grammatical and word choice errors, but nothing too over the top. A little edit and this would be spot on! Well done.
