Know That I Too

Ripples - Epilogue.

Ripples - Epilogue.

A Chapter by Creepy Swine Guy

There you have it; a simple act of kindness set in motion a chain of events or ripples. These events, these dominoes, if you like, turned as they fell. They turned 180 degrees and came right back to Kara Somach and her daughter, Tina. They resulted in a loved one being in the right place at the most critical of moments.

Can you trace your own personal dominoes backwards to some seemingly insignificant event? Did you meet your love at work? What if you'd gotten a different job?  Maybe some ripples never find their way back home. Maybe some ripples will take decades to find their way home. Does every little ripple you make change the course of history?

I suppose we must all decide for ourselves. What domino did you topple today? What ripple will you send out into the vast sea of humanity tomorrow?

This reminds me of Ray Bradbury's "A Sound of Thunder"--the butterfly effect. The writing is crisp and lean--the characters rendered for the purpose of clear motivation with the emphasis on theme. Quite entertaining way of saying "pass it forward." I choose not to rate any material as I feel opinion is subjective.

I like the way you weave a tapestry of stories together. When I first started reading, I didn't expect the twist you brought in for Stephen Wilton. The story presents a lot of surprises, but it works and keeps pulling the reader along.

What another author may have reduced to predictable...trite ...and sappy...you have woven into an endearing lesson and story. I adore it on several levels.
It brings to mind...
Romans 5:12-21

Did I mention I adore it ?
