Pins and Needles.

Pins and Needles.

A Poem by Caitlin
"

"As Women, we must stand up for ourselves. As Women, we must stand up for each other. As Women, we must stand up for Justice for all." ~Michelle Obama.

"
Pins and Needles.

The venom from your tongue
Stings sharp in my ear.
I coil, down on my knees
I beg,
For your forgiveness.

Yet still, the needles fly
As if I were only
A mere pin cushion
To you;
One.. Two.. Three..

You unstitch my bounded wounds
One by one
Until i'm at your feet
Praying to the God I only
Hope, exists.

But the man whom in which
I look upon is no God
To me.
He's vacant;
No longer the man in which
I fell in love.

I should have read this unhappiness before now because... it's not mere words but deep emotions. To say the words are sadly but beautifully written would be true but more importantly is the way in which your voice calls out, louder and louder, line by line.

Hugs.
