Wolf Apparition

Wolf Apparition

A Poem by Tina Kline

An icy whisper and a frozen sigh

A misty white figure goes racing by

Flowing like liquid across the ivory snow

Luminous in the Arctic moon’s surreal glow

She glides along as if she’s not real

Moving gracefully as if the earth she can’t feel

Hear her mournful howl rising in the night

Her voice intermingling with the Northern Lights

A Ghost Wolf haunting the Arctic Landscape

A hunter’s bullet delivered to her this fate

She refused to leave her world behind

Now she runs, her world she can no longer find

Like the whisper of an icy wind passing by

Goes the Ghost Wolf, hear her tragic cry

The picture is erie and the poem is haunting... this has the feelings of a soul caught between heaven and hell... this was quite nice.
