Dandilions

Dandilions

A poem of devotion !

Dandelions

Some prefer and pick a rose,
to share in loves delight
Red is the favoured colour,
for cupid's arrow to take flight

Others choose the daffodil,
majestic in vibrant yellow
Sure to make a lady smile,
when offered by a handsome fellow

I prefer to pick dandelions,
perhaps, a peculiar habit?
As not only do I think they're beautiful,
so does my adored, pet bunny rabbit!

Tom,
"Dandelions" what a nice little story with lovely rhyme this was. I felt thankful for all the flowers that have been such a pleasure to enjoy, dandelions included. Your pet bunny rabbit must have loved the way you cared even was given a nice yellow treat! This was a delight to read and just find a sweet moment. Thanks ..................Kathy

Ha! I was about to shout that dandelions aren't romantic! This had me laughing at the end, Tom. I guess it depends on who you ask! Loved this little diddy. Angi~

A delightful little rhyme with a twist ending. Everything has a purpose in life...even the lowly dandelion whom most consider a weed! Lydi**

I love the sentiment behind this playful poem and love all three flowers you've cleverly written about... and your pet bunny rabbit gets a mention too lol

I am a big fan of the dandelion - woe to the person who says it's just a weed! Very nice, Tom!

LOL This is very cute.. Somewhere I have a poem of the same title.. Here in LA where I live we spend fortunes trying to get rid of them in the lawn and then go to the super market and buy them in spring salad mix.. go figure.. lol Enjoyed this little gem Tom.. xo
