Cotton Candy

Cotton Candy

A Poem by Revolutionary

Today this tiny town is

alive with vibrant automobiles.

First truck on location

unloads a giant wheel.

The structures name is Ferris.

Workers assemble him with skill,

then suround him with a city

that is guaranteed to thrill.

Jointies count their teddybears

while ride jocks test the gears.

The same sweet cotton candy girl

has been working here for years.

Th sweetest tooth I've ever had,

demands to savor the taste

of pink and purple fluffy clouds

when I see her smiling face.

Vaghabond society

you ar invited to delight,

with oddities and side show freaks,

and other spectacular sigthts.

The marvels at this traveling show

mystify me every year,

but it is the smell of cotten candy

that truely brings me here.

This year before the show is done

I will tell her how I feel.

I hope that we can fall in love

up on the Ferris Wheel.

When the small fairs come to town. I like to see the pleasure and joy in my children eyes. Not as many as in years past. I was station in California and loved to get to the highest point and watch the ocean too. Thank you for the good field trip in your words. A excellent poem.
