PUZZLED

PUZZLED

A Poem by Windy
"

Another late night, early morning ramble...Hope you enjoy!

"

PUZZLED

I'M PUZZLED ABOUT CERTAIN THINGS...

ABOUT THE OCEAN AND THE TREES

THE STORY OF THE BIRDS AND BEES,

WHY THE MALE PREDICTS THE SEX OF A CHILD

WHY A WOMANS LIFE IS SO MUCH HARDER,

WHY DOGS BARK AND CATS MEOW

WHY MEN HAVE A PENIS AND WOMAN A VAGINA,

WHY SOME FOLKS FLIRT WHILE OTHERS ARE SHY

WHY PEOPLE WONDER ABOUT YOU AND I,

WHY THE COLOR OF THE SKY IS BLUE

ITS NO WONDER I'M PUZZLED IF I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO

What fun and what questions or comments to mull over for the remainder of 2008!

I've often wondered why, on the morning of a special even/occasion, we suddenly have a blemish! Or, why does it rain all through your own holidays then, brighten up the day after you return home? Why do you never have your camera with you when something wonderful occurs, appears! There could be more

Anyway, the things you've come up with are really you, and, great fun. Love the: WHY THE MALE PREDICTS THE SEX OF A CHILD - 'cos shouldnt women have the choice seeing as tho we're going to be doing the hard work!

Oh darn it, now you have me going!. Your post has put a real smile in my thinking. Thank you for sharing

We do what we have to do, and what charms us,
your colors are fabulous, just adds that touch
to your wonderfully worded poem,
so much the mind wonders as it wanders,
most excellent piece!!

Interesting read and made for a funny read. Hope someday you find all the answers you are searching for. But until then keep questioning everything.

I really like this poem. It made me think, and take a look at just how diverse life is.. and how much of it I sometimes dismiss as "normal." There's a quote that matches this poem, I think, something alone the lines of.. "The Unexamined life is not worth living." -Socrates. Also, I think I figured out part of Emma's wonderings. You never have your camera with you when something wonderful occurs because the absolute best things in life can't be caught on film :p

I don't have a day go by where I'm not puzzled by something or other lol. such interesting questions you pose here - I'm sure there is a philosopher somewhere who will be happy to tackle them with you hehehe For now - perhaps the fun is in the asking - and the conjuring of our own answers. :-)

All of these questions and more that we ponder Windy...Such a carefree, not to mention-colorful write. I think the change in font colors makes it even more carefree. Adds interest. Thank you for sharing this very thought provoking write. :-) Carole
