Seasons of Marriage

Seasons of Marriage

A Poem by

In spring worlds of joy and merryment

do I propose to you

with a hope of a new begginning

like this season.

May you enjoy the summers

under this old tree

of old memories and shade.

As autumn plummets into your days

let their be wonder and amusement

on this dear face

of yours.

Eternity shall hold your winter cold hand

with comfort just as I hold

at this moment.

So I do hope you a fullfilled life

on this day and forever after.

really good work incorporating seasons with the theme of love and unity. I really like what you did here. Great job!

I love this poem; it takes wisdom to understand there is more to marriage than just the glorious, giddy beginnings. Thank you.

Now, I will speak as a copy editor; in the next to last line you left the "e" out of fulfilled.
