Horses of the North,

Run to me, in this land of the lords,

All together feel the magic,

The sun of the day,

The  moon at night…

This fresh wind of the afternoon,

And the twinkling of twilight…

I’ll give you higher grass, so you’ll survive…

Come to me, my horses that vivid and alive…

Horses throughout time and antiquity are represented in writing as alive and verile..even transcendental
I would add, since they represent a more spiritual rather than material or emperical aspect. I mean
how many people ( those strict Pennsylvania Mennonites excluded) use horses as labor anymore.

But i'm from the city..Horses seem to represent happiness rather partake in it. (someone please correct me...someone who loves and lives with horses)

I love horses, and they came so close to me, when I walked in the middle of nowhere, and wow, I shoot these two pictures, gave them higher grass, with a flat hand, they were like kings and queens, on the field... a true beautiful moment, thanks so much luv.

Ellie this was personally , for me, one of the best ones of the day.Not sure which one resounded within me most , your words, the picture or the music, but I'm in love with this peace and art.

you took this pic yourself? I am completely jealous! are they wild ones? They look to fat and healthy to be free roaming horses, they are gorgeous, I bet they will be at least when she comes in again, ya know, to get the stork to visit in the spring, it's hard to tell with horses, lol.
They aren't very proprietary and go with the herd syndrome. :)

They ran to me, and then the where so close. It was magical.... no wild ones I think, but couldn't see a farmer house near, so it was an experience itself.... they look indeed to fat to be wild ones.

But it was so lovely, they truly have caracter, as the white one did bit the two brown ones on the left, he thought he was the leader LOL.... ;) miss you, be back as soon as I can dear.

This little poem and wonderful photo...radiate happiness and joy of life! I love it and horses as a symbol of freedom are so nice! Horses run with the rhythm of the heart, desire to be in this wonderful green fields always, or as long as possible, as the spirit takes energy from it. Green is also my color of happiness...I really love it, makes me feel part of the nature! You mix as an artist fantasy world and reality in one lovely painting :)
