Midnight's Race

Midnight's Race

A Poem by XxWhatsername86

With no thoughts on midnights roads

All these dreams are of the day

Sun rise, sun shine, sun please fall down

For my thoughts wish to race

Along the starry skies and the moon filled eyes

Of the ones I cherish most

Please do not let the light shine down

On what I truly wish to have or need

A little darkness for you and me

To lay our heads and dream with those racing thoughts

Oh who am I to fall apart

So good night my love, my peace, my serenity

I wish nothing but this race cross the midnight sky

The race to my beloved sanity

First off, I love your username. :)

This poem is really colorful (and not just because it's written in purple) and I love the imagery you used. This is really well-written!
