My Angel, My Dream..by Michael

A butterfly with powdered wings lands on my shoulder.
It's antennae kisses my cheek. A firefly sneaks into my
bedroom while I sleep and lights up my pillow with a pleasant dream
Of you. Such are the angels which tend to visit us
In our time of need. The scent of your perfume fills the air
From which I breathe. A memory of when you once were with me.
Love never dies after one has passed onto the afterlife,
It just comes back to visit in many different forms.
My Angel, my dream...

I love this, it's so beautifully written and has a gentle and loving feel about it. I love the idea that after passing the spirit can still be found all around us, especially in nature which is already so beautiful. Great poem :D
