A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

My favourite poem to recite. I used to like the looks on their faces as this was recited by a plain looking young girl.

"
An angry fist -
Full of vengeance
Shatters the mocking mirror.

An insane reflection -
Stares back at me
Through blood and shards of broken glass.

A tear falls silently -
And raising my hand to touch it
I streak blood across my face.
There are no more tears to cry.

And in the ensuing darkness there
I softly smile.

We all have our "thoughts" to appreciate as we sit on a sea wall or by a cold firepit and stare into the "nothing".
