Does she?

Does she?

A Poem by Azure Montessa (Blue)
"

10/25/13

"

I heard you're dating someone

a girl just caught your eye

Tell me about this new love

the cause of your "Goodbye".

Does she greet you good morning

with breakfast in your bed?

Does she know your fav'rite songs

and sing them in her head?

Does she kiss you 'til you're breathless

and treat you like a prince?

Does she keep all your love letters,

not throwing them in bins?

Does she sing in the shower

and waltz on the floor?

Does she fix your black necktie

and wave bye from the door?

Does she pack up your lunch

a sandwich with a note?

Does she send you thoughtful texts

an "I love you" and a quote?

Does she understand your hobbies

the cigars and the games?

Does she also love your friends

the quirks behind the names?

Does she miss you when you're gone

and wait 'til you're back?

Does she offer better things

all the things that I lack?

Does she love you like I did

or does she love you even more?

And baby, does she even know

she has all I'm wishing for?

I can see the battle in the girls head while she is thinking about this. Great write. This would be great as like blues or lonely song.

Rhymes are good, and this is also a poem I can relate to..... :)

solitarity, first, broken heart, airy fairy love which one dreams about having, but befalls to someone else, this is heart we are talking about not mind, mind might say you are rational, find someone else to worth you, feel you, love you, but always heart wins the battle, and beat and best mind, what heart wants is what ruin you but still we are humans because we have heart. well done, beautifully written.

Sounds like a country western song with all the heartaches and blues to go along with, all I can say, if you did/feel all this, that guy is crazy to let you go!

sorrowful, beautiful. The accompanying image says it all - an abandoned heart, seeking release from loneliness, wishing for better days to return.
I wonder... did we all have solitary hearts to begin with?
When did the love's shadow first render us incomplete and wishing for union with another? And if we never knew love, would we never know despair?
Great work, here Blue. Keep it up

If only we would learn to appreciate what we have...
But too often we don't figure that out until it is gone.

This is a very cool poem, it is very well written. It show's the pain of heartbreak that a girl can feel, and how it increases as they see their love with another girl.

Does she love you like I did
or does she love you even more?
And baby, does she even know
she has all I'm wishing for?

This last stanza I feel holds a mighty impact as it, in a short amount of words has impacted the reader, to see the pain a heart can feel, but also the hidden feelings the girl has for her "baby".

I liked this quite a bit. Very song-like...

A very meaningful story line full of emotion.
I love the rhyming and the way it flows.
I like the whole way its set out and the title suites it to a T.
I loved this peace :)
