i tried to paint my pain today

I tried to paint my pain today

It didn't work

I tried to write it, to capture it in words

That always works

But today it didn't

I tried to speak my pain, to release it

But no matter what i said it was still inside of me hurting like a hell i never knew about

I tried to cry my pain out

Two tears came

They were not nearly enough they could not even begin to explain

I tried to breath it out, to feel it

but I couldn't even really do that

So then i tried to push it away but that caused a searing pain 

I was unable to do that so I gave up and let it back in

This pain is getting to comfortable in me I want it out but it wont leave 

No matter what I do or say

I tried to loose my pain today

but it fought me back and stayed
