Story of my LIFE..

STORY OF MY LIFE…..

I came on this world crying,

The peaceful lap of my mother….

That’s where I was lying…

I grew up and came across with different stages of my life…

Having exotic dreams on these innocent eyes…

When I was a kid I still remember….

How I managed to build hundreds of castles…

Or may be of some endless numbers….

Yet I decided what I wanna be…

But never knew how much it gonna cost me…

Gradually I entered my teen….

Where I got thousand wounded knees….

At one point of time…I was feeling hopeless inside…

And at the same time…..

I was figuring out the greatest problems of my life…..

At this time only…

I got some scars that will never gonna heal…

Some pains which are just too real…

But I still decided to carry on…

With same innocent dreams….but…

Not with those same innocent eyes…

May be I was grown…..or the reason may be something else….

But I still decided to carry on……

Now I found myself climbing up that hill…

Where I found my dreams to be fulfilled…

I reached to its top and took a deep breath…

And was astonished by my journey…..

I found that I was many time crushed…

Broken, fouled, wounded but still trusted …

I was crucified and fall upon the thorns of life….

But seems like... that was only my immortal sacrifice….

And I can proudly say...of whom Iam today…

I never ever lost the real value of mine….

Yet I came on this world crying…..

But will gonna leave it with laughter and joys of mine…

And will only gonna miss my "innocent" eyes………………………

So……

This was all….

The Story of my Life….

This was all….

The Story of my Life….

This is such a mature piece Bhavya!
and I never knew that you have so much maturity in such a age. Your works speak for itself which is a sense of pride for you..I'm sure!

Even..I was getting flashbacks of my own life while reading it and thus made me nostalgic.

The usage of "innocent eyes" and the feel is according to me the real power of the poetry...

There's a lot of wisdom in these words for such a young person! The gentle touch of melancholy at losing your innocent eyes is tender rather than despairing, only serving to show the maturity that comes from living through all the wounding times. This is a good reminder for us all and can serve as something of a mantra.

Thanks for sharing it!

A great description of one's life, full of struggles and all. LIFE means struggling, and a life of a Human being is more so. Great explained, and well carry on. But I must now suggest you to try something different. ~KA~
