Betrayed

I still remember the time when we were together,

But now like a broken glass everything got scattered.

Everything is still in front of my eyes in my reverie,

And I'm still searching for the reason behind your ire.

My heart is still mortgaged for you to win this lover's game,

I waited for the day of our victory, which never ever came!

I was addicted to you like I was once to nicotine,

Now you're blaming me with such extreme rage as lupine.

Our love was so true but by you it was stigmatized,

I fought with the situation but it was all futile.

It's the same moonlight tonight but you're with someone else,

I know your heart's now suffering from some malaise.

I gave you everything from my heart and my life ,

But now I'm DEAD.....

As in return by you I was broken and betrayed….

Ahmmmm!! I'm basically still unaware about the reason behind our break up....
And it's been a long time now...but...even life's not back to normal track :( :(

Very well done, I like the pictures you choose for your stuff. I can relate about being betrayed, but not in the love field (Never loved). But this piece at least I can feel what I should I guess, and make me more paranoid of love. I am truly impresses here, and thank you for finding my group. I hope the piece you entered in my contest gets a lot of votes.

Very well done, very well expressed.

First the poem is well written and I can feel your emotions. I can feel it because I was there, felt the pain as my heart was riped out.
My love for her was so rare that I thought it would last forever but instead she wanted more, more then I could give. Although I thought I could be a man about it, I was not. Time will heal it but it seems like an eternity. To mend my heart I learned to look people in the eye and not question my impression, and to embrace the moments around me; those ones mean the most to me.

Nice writ and great graphics

What have you done with the colors this time?
Excellent effort.
You're a dedicated writer.

This is a fine write.
I like the intensity in these lines.
I hope you've given up nicotine as well.

Wonderful honest, yet sad write. I loved the way it is presented with the colors of black and red, my favorite mixed up colors. Great Write. Hang in there!

Great images to add to the impact of your words upon the reader. Especially the last one, with the girl walking away with the heart. Do we ever know the reasons that a lover may abandon us, with a broken heart and no explaination. Hopefully you find someone who will help you to mend your wounded heart and fall in love with. Thank you for sharing this personal poem with us.
