You were the one that I've always wanted,

We started it so well but it soon was ended.

 

Your love gave me hope and a new life to live,

I committed a mistake of loving you which I can't forgive.

As you went with someone else and left me apart.

Just one suggestion for the line: "We started it so well but it soon got ended," -I think you should take out "got", would sound a lot better.

Other than that, I enjoyed this piece having just gone through something similiar after a 5 year relationship. Wonderful write.

A good poem, but your grammer is a bit lacking.

"You were the one that I've ever wanted," => "You were the one that I've always wanted"
"We started it so well but it soon got ended." => "We started it so well but it soon was ended."
"But you are still the one that I've ever wanted..." => "But you are still the one I've always wanted".
