Rainbow

Rainbow

A Poem by Brandon Mathis

If you see a rainbow

Do you wonder where it came from?

Do you look for the gold?

Or do you just watch it glow?

As your eyes go across it slow

Do you wonder if anyone else is seeing the same rainbow?

This world isn’t as big as it seems

Our eyes only see what we believe

The connection of one another is not known

But we all watch this rainbow glow

And the colors that it holds

As we all stare

These colors take all our cares

The rain left us with something to share

Making you feel so alive

Just for a little bit of time

Only if it’s once in your life

You will feel it all around

As it touches the ground

All though it makes no sound

This rainbow speaks louder than words

Touching hearts all around the world

It will stay in your life

Leaving you with a smile

I like this, you've looked deep at the world and asked questions of it. very well done, one of my favourites of yours.
