All the bullshit in the world

All the bullshit in the world

A Poem by Bob Sherunkle

All the bullshit in the world will be left to turn,
When I lay my head down and begin to burn.

No more lies,no more pretending,
No more caring and no more defending.

I can close my eyes for the final time,
Knowing I left,surpassing my prime.

As the flames lick my cold soft skin,
I leave this world with comfort not sin.

All the bullshit in the world warped my thinking,
It doesn't matter now,the kindle is winking.

Bidding farewell to this mortal realm in a broiling blaze of fire. Not peaceful, maybe, but a scalding middle-finger to a world that never pulled its punches. That last line, Bob, "It doesn't matter now,the kindle is winking." Just bloody brilliant. Well done :)

Haha. This is fire, my friend. A very passionate despise against all the bullshit's that you hate. I love this one, too. :)

Yep, sometimes BS wears on you, and you finally decide, "hands off!" Leave it alone, who cares, doesnt matter. Tight, solid structure here. I like it!
