she's the type of girl that confuses;
kind eyes, yet sharp tongue
joins you in that mad dance
smaller legs keeping time with yours---

sometimes, her fingers lace through yours
thumb tracing patterns over your skin
and sometimes, wits collide in playful banter;
somehow, she always wins

she's the perfect match for you
and it scares you to be falling
