Young one so sweet and free.

Many dreams of what to be

Young one just wait awhile

Don’t grow up as fast as you desire

Enjoy the precious years ahead of you.

Always remember

Stay true to yourself

Don’t conform to others wants.

Young one in my arms

So close to me;

I wish I could protect you forever.

To keep away all the bad dreams.

As you are young I am your dream catcher

Scaring away all of your fears.

Young one this world is cruel

Take heed in the words I say to you

Follow your dreams

Be careful who you trust.

Believe in love

Listen closely to words.

Dance around like you don’t care.

Sing as loud as you want.

Write what you feel, no matter if it sounds insane.

Don’t let anyone bring you down.

Young one as I am your dream catcher

Everything your heart desires to be.

Being a mother i can relate so .. and it made me cry .. we can only do our best and hope and pray our children are safe and walk the path of goodness.
