The Fool

The Fool

A Poem by Brandy Alexander

Lattice work of emerald vines

Twisted, caged, concealing,

Wandering through lunatic laughter

I am what I always was

A lost traveler

Can’t see where to go

Blind without wisdom

Looking out through cobwebbed strangled vision

Asking for purpose

Longing to know

The pathways that cross

Where does the other go?

And I am what I always was…

bubba joan,

i love your poem! very well written... your word selection is impeccable. my only real nit is the lack of punctuation from line two, until the penultimate line. other than missing a few commas and the like (which i coose to overlook :) i like.

later.

sincerely,
jr

I really liked this, the flow, the simplistic natural, tranquil and peaceful.
Reminds me of walking a trail through a forest enchanted in some uknown way,
beautifully done, keep it up
