Mom's memories

Mom's memories

A Chapter by Unclouded Eyes
"

Simple memories make life great.

"

The poems of life are precious

Moments made by love, unselfish giving

From the newborns first cry, to death’s gasp

Hands lifting you up to the sky and stars

Laughter shared in common joy.

His school was having a bake sale

His mom made cookies for him to take

With pride he recalls the pleasure they brought

To the last were they sold, smiles and money

His teacher asks him to ask his mom for the recipe.

Victory and pride in his smile and his mom

For the love she showed, her blessing

For building their bond and his confidence

Tight hugs and “I love you.”s

Mother and son, connection

She was surprised by his news

Blessed by adoring eyes

His story of success by her hands

Face filled with pride

A memory held by her heart. Love.
