The Love of Strangers – joy of birth

The Love of Strangers – joy of birth

A Chapter by Unclouded Eyes

There was light,

A blinding joy,

An uplifting grace

Can you remember?

First breath

Freedom’s warmth,

The painful peace,

Hope’s healthy glow

Turning frowns into smiles,

And a new day begins.

Time rushing forth

Creating memories

Still fresh from the making,

Struggling for understanding

For the right to exist

In the world, the real

Before pain takes hold

Or love is lost.

The greatest beauty of a newborn

The fresh soul unclaimed

By pain and loss

Oh, to return to the womb,

To be born fresh

Ready to feel

The love of strangers.
