March Madness.

March Madness.

A Poem by Candylove.

death is in the air

rain drenched with hurt

i see my hands and they look different

used, worthless in a way

grace resides on the outskirts

smoke filled

heart sunk beneath the dirt of existing

april seems too far away

disaster looming,

love is my impending doom

always

I never could smell the rain.

Good words and good lines... it's dark and very interesting write!

Inspirational! I like how subtle it is but still with an edgy kick to the face. If that makes sense?

A richly dark and interesting piece. The wording and the imagery is thought provoking especially in the second stanza.

"Heart beneath the dirt of existing.." Makes the light in the poem flicker off and on, spooked. "April seems too far away.." Chilling threat. Wait lingers.

Some Feelings Present Its Self Here From Within The Dark.
It Hides So Emotions From Afar But Instead They Leech On The Soul.
Hinder There Progress And Find Another Way To Love.
This Is A Hole State Of Power Of Another Thought In Mind.

I Like This One. Very Dark And Clear In Its Image.

That time before spring is kinda errie though! So true, u'll smell the rain alright. Why is love your impending doom? Because you lose yourself?
