well done ... really appreciate the call of your closing line ... take the time .. never waste a drop .. our "special" days that exude our seasons are precious indeed ... to be rolled in ... reveled in .. breathed deeply in ... the haiku form is perfect for the theme ... you create an intimate and emotive scene that has power and imagination ... again .. nice one says i!

Very nicely done Chris. You dont see or hear much of decant/ing these days, but you describe perfectly the energy that invigorates the parts that other seasons cannot reach. Hmm, where have i heard that phrase before? Bloody adverts 😀

Well, its as well as can be with the nights fair drawing in and enough frost on the hills to make it look like a christmas coke ad. Judging by the temp here, Santa has decided were all bad up here and not getting pressies.
