I still don't understand what's system of composition for haiku. But this have quiet zen transcend spirit in it. Wind and rain even can be sometimes dangerous for grass but without them grass will die. So we are back again in balance . This really broken my morning into beautiful observation of our world. Thank you and have nice day.

The haiku struck me how I once saw entire swathes of trees fallen prostrate on the ground from a cyclone. Grass is so much more resilient!

So much wisdom in your words Ditzy. How awful to see trees downed like that. Many thanks.

My pleasure, dear Chris!
Sometimes the most delicate are also the most resilient.

Thank you Ana. Yes, there is much truth in what you say.

I take this as a testament to the fact that you are thoroughly enjoying your time afloat
Our fields of long grass have been flattened by hammering rain
But, keeps everything green!

We are having a good break Dave on the river. Plenty for me to observe. Sorry about your fields.

A lovely haiku, Christine. Captured beautifully. I am all for resilience and river grass struggling in the wind and rain is a strong symbol of that word. Wonderfully portrayed. You portray scenery so well with your words.

Thank you Inessa for your encouraging review.

Standing up--under pressure--is a vital ability to possess.
So much of life tests that particular kind of "resilience."
Meaningful poetry, Christine of Berkshire.
