(A recent dream while suffering from COVID)

there were no cathedrals
domes or church spires
or even heavenly choirs
while i dreamed in the clutch
of COVID

yet there was peace
a blinding flashing of lights
against the backdrop of a
vast ebon sky

and there was singing too
a song of eternal love
emanating from the presence
of a pulsating brightness

a voice not recognized
mesmerized me it did
no doubt that it was my song
lyrics written for me and me
alone

brimful was I to overflowing
knowing that i had lived
and there was love from another
to the depths and heights
of the unknown

my poet’s mind wanders
runs wild and free
no big deal
though the tears left on
my pillow on waking
were no figment of imagination
they were real

wow Chris this write touches my heart, when covid hit I was homeless I stop and turn to God and prayed, now what do we do, I got this feeling not to run from death but help those who want to live and few did the same no matter what there's always hope, thank you for sharing a write I felt.

this proves how real dreams really are...and so interesting that under the circumstances the dream would be so peaceful...But no matter what we have to overcome...we are grateful in life for the chance to love and be loved...I know that so well.

There was no fever Neville. It was just an amazing dream and I feel blessed to have had that experience. All negativity gone. Just in an environment of perfect peace and surrounded by love.
