I Say Your Name

I Say Your Name

A Poem by Chris Shaw
"

Mum Third Anniversary 1st Feb.

"
there will be no mourning
only gratitude for memories
placed with flora in glass vases
cream tea roses and pink carnations
while on the mantle there will be
white candles scented
effusing bouquets of jasmine love

my mind will carry my heart
in thought flight to the west country
where the tides embrace Anstey’s Cove
and kiss the feet at Thatcher’s Rock
wild water washing away
the last days of suffering, leaving
images of you smiling and waving

A worthy tribute to your great mom. I like how you won't mourn but celebrate her, her life and achievements. A bouquet of Jasmine love is wonderful metaphor for your flowery love.

Hi Chris, hope you are doing good, i would say have one apple, 2 manasamithram tablets 3 times after food, and slight walk in evening to make you little tired on wheels. I am a self healer with own treatment with doctors help in prescription.

I am curious, here the reviews indicate people are feeling about mourning with a appreciation. I dont understand what they are eating to make them think so.
Anyways, people care for people when they are alive once they depart what else you can do nothing , even you spend time in litting candle saying their names.
I would care for my people when they are alive not to miss anything which makes them happy. I just got chance to spend with my grand mother ,she is in her 85+ years, i feel her like a little girl of 1 year with her short steps, and when holding her chin to see her teeth, she just gives adorable smile, that was inspiration for me, though in this life people create problems, i just learnt from her you have to survive every step with a smile, God is with you always taking you ahead. I just fortunate to make her smile and relas take care of her at her last stages in life. I just flew here to hyderabad when i came to know she is at my parents place. She was thinking she could ever see me before she leaves, now at this last years.

Everything doesnt come like that, my things are already planned by God and timely happening is what happens, though and evil eyes plan crookedly to get rif off to make their benfits settling and achieving free pleasures.

But please make sure you are smiling with your son's jokes twice day that makes all toxins release.

I love you Chris.
Just forget about the people who left and for them they are happy always blessing us only to make us happy. Kindly dont feel bad about them.

This is a peaceful and heartfelt poem. The flowers, candles, and the sea creates a memory never forgotten. The last line is especially touching, leaving a sense of love and remembrance. A beautiful tribute, Chris!

Fabulous Chris - and so good that you have such fond memories of the beloved West Country. I am now in my 55th Year of living in and around Bristol, the Capital of the West, and for choice I really wouldn't live anywhere else. A lovely tribute to yr dear Mother. Exceptional ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

We do reflect on the happier times that helped to shape us more and more, the further we move away from our youth and upbringing and your words here say it all to the woman who helped make you and become what you are.
Beautifully captured Chris.
