The Sea Has Secrets

The Sea Has Secrets

A Chapter by Constance
"

A Kyrielle

"

Dawn rising over glass and foam

Makes one wonder what the fathoms deep

Are hiding held within the loam

The sea has secrets it shall keep

Deep down where sunlight cannot reach

Where the creatures of darkness creep

There are lessons you cannot teach

The sea has secrets it shall keep

Wind sighing over beaten shore

Of love and death it seems to weep

For a king's discarded paramour

The sea has secrets it shall keep

You can't know ripples form a tide

Til up on your shores it dost sweep

Yet it looks deep to your inside

The sea has secrets it shall keep

lol... I'm a sucker for sea poems... I was reading it and thought it sounded familiar, now I find myself staring at my previous review of it. I stand by what I said before (:

I love it! Great job keeping with the structure of the kyrielle form of poetry, it can be quite challenging! This never sounded awkward anywhere and was full of beautiful imagery and language. You definitely captured the mystery of the sea through your words. Great job!
